Ancient Japanese Music
Japanese music itself is reshaped from the Chinese music style and only became almost like a reference. That doesn’t mean that Chinese music was the entire base of Japanese music because they had made new instruments like the koto and had also been changed for the locals need. Many of the instruments resemble common instrument such as the shamisen and guitar, shakuhachi and flute. The sounds of the instruments were most unique and needed in most traditional and folk music in ancient japan like the koto was used for a famous folk song called “sakura sakura”.

Architecture
The Japanese architecture is very distinguishable because of the shape and also it is completely different to the European style. Korea had influenced the architecture, but japan only adapted into the traditional Japanese structure. The traditional Japanese style with the latticed windows with socket hinges and wooden floors and roofs was called Wa-Yo. One of the most identifiable features of Japanese architecture is the curved roofs and the most unique shape with the roofs triangular and their edges sharp and pointing upwards. Another kind of style very popular with the Japanese people were the Shinto architecture which looked more like shrines, this was because it was influenced by Buddhism
